PCCC Meets with NYC Mayoral Candidate Curtis Silwa

On Friday, October 22, 2021, the PCCC Executive Committee was pleased to meet with Republican New York City Mayoral Candidate Curtis Sliwa. Our almost hour-long conversation centered around issues of great importance to Co-op and Condo homeowners in New York City.

Mr. Sliwa took copious notes throughout our conversation and expressed great support on the numerous issues we discussed, including unfunded mandates; proposed legislation banning criminal background checks, and the inequities in the current system of assessing real estate taxes for Co-op homeowners. We discussed the tremendous values the Co-op and Condo communities bring to the quality of life in New York City and how the next Mayor can be a partner to this Community to enhance it in any way possible.

The PCCC has now met with both Mayoral candidates and wish them both the best of luck. No matter who wins the elections, we look forward to working with the next Mayor and enhancing the quality of life for the Co-op and Condo communities.
