As part of our continuing conversation with Elected Officials regarding critical issues to Co-op Boards and our members, the Executive Committee of the PCCC met with New York State Senator from the 15th District Joseph Addabbo on November 19, 2021. It was an extremely productive conversation with ideas exchanged from both sides.
We reviewed and discussed the Tenant Protection Act and the Co-op Carve Out Bill; the Good Cause Eviction bill; the Timing and Reasons bill and the Coop Transparency Bill. Senator Addabbo expressed his support for the Coop community and let us know his doors are always open to us if there are pressing issues.
The PCCC would like to thank Senator Addabbo for his time and we look forward to reaching out to him on critical issues in the future.
