On Friday, May 21, 2021, the Executive Committee of the President’s Co-op & Condo Council and various other leaders and professionals in the Co-op/Condo community met with NY City Mayoral Candidate Kathryn Garcia. 

 

The conversation focused on issues of great importance to the over 1 million residents in New York City who live in a Co-op or Condo. Great emphasis was placed on the many onerous unfunded mandates and unfair tax systems in New York City.

 

Commissioner Garcia was very receptive to these issues and it was a great opportunity for us to let her know the issues of importance to this Community.  It was a productive conversation and we truly feel it is bringing Co-op and Condo issues to the forefront of the various mayoral campaigns.
