Believe it or not, the eligibility of Coops for benefits under the Paycheck Protection Program is still alive. Several weeks ago, the US House of Representatives passed the Heroes Act 2.0. The Act included cooperative housing in the Paycheck Protection Program. See page 582 of the Act READ MORE.

 

The PCCC is working closely with Congresswoman Grace Meng’s office and Senator Schumer’s office to ensure that Coops are included in whatever legislation comes out of the US Senate. In addition, we are informed that negotiations between Speaker Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Mnuchin for an administrative fix are ongoing.
